The Lamb Inn, Sandford 

We are delighted to say in the last month, The Lamb Inn has been awarded the Taste of the West Award for  "South West Dining Pub of the Year 2011". Also, amazingly, we are equal winners with Gidleigh Park for "The Taste of Devon Award" 2011 at the Devon Tourism Awards and finally we were finalists at the Devon Life Food and Drink awards for the Best Community Pub 2011. A good month we reckon!

 
From 9am till midnight we've got everything from the best espresso coffee, real ales and quality wine to luxurious accommodation and superb food. Our hotel rooms are simply stunning. We are located in the heart of Devon, close to Exeter and Crediton. We also cook to order, seven days a week, lunchtime and dinner. Should you not feel inclined to drive home  after dinner our sumptuous en-suite rooms await - or we can simply arrange a taxi.

Conferences, meetings and parties for up to 100 can be arranged in our function room. In every department we are totally quality led but we always offer the very best value for  money. Whether you want a hotel room, a cinema, food, drink, music or a garden, we've got it and we're excellent value for money.

 The Lamb Inn is a 16th century former coaching house with open fires, low ceilings, comfy sofas, stunning bedrooms and a private room for parties of less than 100. It's a typical village pub, always welcoming, always something going on but rarely packed with nowhere to sit. There's also a lovely sheltered garden on three levels, perfect for summers evenings...
